Our supplier use high grown teas from the top 3 tea growing regions of Sri Lanka – Nuwara Eliya, Dimbula and Uva. These three high-grown districts produce flavorful teas that have classic Ceylon character which is noted by a floral bouquet, touches of mild astringency, and bright coppery color. They buy during peak season to ensure top quality and freshness. They only use natural flavoring on the tea as they do not want to mask the natural taste of high grown black tea (the overpowering and synthetic character of artificial flavoring is often used to hide lower quality tea).
